Why Union Swag?
She who makes the t-shirts, controls the design.
It all began with my coworkers discussing creating our ‘own swag’ in 2022. I volunteered to undertake the design and execution of the project as long as I was granted creative license to choose whatever whimsical artwork for our t-shirts.
Unions typically have their own swag, that ranges from basic logos to skulls and lightning. But I had other ideas. Since we are located in the Midwest I wanted something to represent US. So I chose lightning and a sports car that is built in Lansing, MI. And from that day I realized how fun making swag is.
My processes are simple. I use union printshops for my shirts and stickers, that’s why they have they union bug marked on them. If a product does not have bug, reach out to me to find out where it came from. I do create some products in house.
